Civic-Military Parade: 211 Years of the Cry of Independence. Thursday, September 16, 2021 President AMLO. We commemorate the 211th Anniversary of the beginning of Independence with the realization of the Civic-Military Parade. The members of the Armed Forces once again showed their organization, capabilities, and discipline. We are grateful that they use all this preparation to help the people in natural disasters, in vaccination against #COVID19, and in the development of Mexico. 34 national war flags, 13 flags and 437 soldiers from friendly armed forces participated, 15,180 members of the three Armed Forces and the National Guard, 60 charros, 599 vehicles, six units of heavy machinery, 276 horses, and 205 dogs. In the military air part, 71 airplanes, 28 helicopters, that is, a total of 99 aircraft. Six helicopters and four drones paraded on platforms. Our guests of honor were the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and his wife, Lis Cuesta Peraza.
