It's been a while. My name is Amano. Today I'm going to introduce Atagawa, a hot spring town full of ruins. Previously, Takeyaki Sho featured Yugashima Onsen and introduced it as being full of ruins, so I made a video about an even more deserted hot spring town in Izu. Well, there is a facility called Banana Crocodile Garden that is still going strong, but the hot spring town down from there towards the sea is terrible. Especially the main street is a street of shuttered shops. Everything is closed except for one ramen shop, and more than half of the hotels and inns are also closed. The hotel employee dormitories have ivy tangled up in them, and the doors and windows are broken. It really feels like a legacy of the bubble economy. But Atagawa Onsen has the highest density of hot spring towers in Japan. It has so many advantages, so why has it become so deserted...
