To the rhythm of their own song, composed by Francisco Jarque, or 'Curro' as everyone knows him, the people of Caspoli and visitors welcomed the long-awaited August festivities in honour of San Roque. They did so this Saturday in a colourful square full of fans due to the high temperatures. It was just after 1:15 pm when Jarque uttered the long-awaited words before the rocket was fired. "Caspolinos, Caspolinas, do you want to party?" After that, madness broke out, everyone together, both young and old, jumped for joy and excitement shouting ¡Viva Caspe! and ¡Viva San Roque! All accompanied by the rhythm of the song 'Caspe is celebrating' and the charanga and the giants.
