In paid collaboration with Sofiero 0.0% Since I was a child, Christmas has always been my absolute favorite holiday, and no matter how much you look forward to the Christmas table, there is something I like cooking and eating on Christmas day just as much - the Christmas turkey! In this video you can see how I cook my turkey, how to get it juicy and crispy at the same time, how I make my beer mash and a creamy mulled wine sauce (a must try...)! Ingredients for 8 people: *I made this turkey by feel without a thermometer. If you have not made a turkey before, I would recommend using a thermometer for this and then measure by inserting the stick into one of the breast fillets (the legs and wings are always cooked faster). Your turkey is ready when the internal temperature is around 70-73 degrees. The turkey: 4.5 kg whole turkey 1 pot of sage 1 pot of rosemary 1-2 heads of garlic 1 lemon (didn't have it in this video) 3 stalks of celery 2 yellow onions Olive oil (you can also add butter if you want to make it easier to keep the turkey juicy) Salt & black pepper Mashed potatoes: 1 kg potatoes (flourish is easiest to make) 2-3 dl room temperature Whipped cream approx. 250-300g butter at room temperature Approx. 20-33cl Sofiero non-alcoholic beer Mulled sauce: *I usually use blackcurrant jelly in the sauce instead. 6dl whipping cream 1.5dl mulled wine Skyn from the turkey Salt and black pepper Brussels sprouts: 500g Brussels sprouts Butter Salt
