On September 3, 2023, they were allowed to play with their old-timers in the corn again at the 2-yearly Oldtimer chopping day in Espelo, where the public could be present for the first time since 2019. In this extensive video a summary of a very successful afternoon of chopping corn with a nice collection of classic choppers. We start the video with loosening the edges, which was done with a Farmhand F600 Turbo, a very rare 3-row self-propelled from the 1970s that we saw at work again in Dalen for the first time in 2017 after years of inactivity and a thorough renovation. The Farmhand is followed by a Ford 7000 with a 2-row PZ MH 160 S chopper, and once there is a bit of space, we also see the various mounted and trailed 1 and 2-row choppers from Krone, PZ, New Holland, John Deere and Kemper at work. The tractors we see are from the brands Ford, International Harvester, Massey Ferguson, Deutz, Renault, Ebro, Zetor, Same and Fordson with vehicles from Schuitemaker and Veenhuis.
