Maatschap Neurink chopping corn in De Pollen with a John Deere 6910 chopper. We saw them by chance that Saturday afternoon on a small field next to the farm, so we immediately pulled the car over to go and have a look and make some footage. We were lucky that there was more chopping to be done that afternoon, and on the instructions we received we drove ahead of them to the next field. After waiting for a while, only 2 tractors arrived but no chopper, it had apparently chosen a different route and had started all the way at the other end, we spoke to one of the drivers and then followed the tractors over some sandy roads to the field where we filmed from 4 in the afternoon until 7 in the evening. The field is divided into 4 blocks by a few ditches, 3 long and 1 somewhat smaller one at the front where we start the video and end it later. Looking at the deep tracks on the nearby plots and what we saw along the way, we expected it to be muddy here too, but luckily for us we could stand there just fine and the gentlemen had a good pace. The towing tractor that had been driving along then leaves again, and the few times they get stuck with a full wagon, they pull it out again with the chopper in front. In addition to the chopper, they drive a Case IH Maxxum 145 with Veenhuis silage wagon, a John Deere 6520 with Beco Super 1600 tipper and a John Deere 7530 Premium with Schuitemaker Rapide 135. We really had a wonderful afternoon here, and we hope that is reflected in this long video. Maatschap Neurink chopping maize in De Pollen with a John Deere 6910 forage harvester. We spotted them by chance that Saturday afternoon in a small field next to the farm, so we immediately parked the car at the side of the road to have a look and take some pictures. There wasn't much to do for the tow tractor so after a while it left, and the few times they did get stuck in the mud with a full trailer, the chopper could easily pull them out again.
