An afternoon of chopping and ensiling corn in the Weitemanslanden by tractor club Weiteman & omstreken with their Mengele SF6600 chopper and various Fendt tractors. In 2020 we had them on film for the last time, and this year we were fortunately at the right place at the right time and saw them that afternoon with all the machines on the yard, ready to start on a new field. In addition to the chopper, they drive with various tractors that afternoon, a Fendt Farmer 104S Turbomatik with a Veenhuis 6003 and a Fendt Favorit 611 LSA Turbomatik E with a Schuitemaker Siwa 140, we are the first to see the chopper follow the corn when mowing the edges. At first it seems to be going well, but on the way back the full Schuitemaker wagon gets stuck, and on that part of the field they have to drag the tractors through the mud for the rest of the afternoon. The other 3 tractors with Veenhuis silage wagons are a Fendt Farmer 410 Vario, a New Holland TS90 and a John Deere 1630, and a Fendt 512 Vario and Favorit 716 Vario are used as towing tractors. At the end of the afternoon we take a look at the pit where they are working with a Fendt 415 Vario TMS with Holaras maize blade and silage roller. Due to the length of the video we have divided it into chapters, to make it easier to watch in parts or find a favorite part again. An afternoon of chopping and silaging maize in the Weitemanslanden by tractor club Weiteman & omstreken with their Mengele SF6600 chopper and various Fendt tractors. We last had them on film in 2020, and this year fortunately we were once again in the right place at the right time and that afternoon we saw them with all the machines in the yard, ready to start a new field. They have various tractors driving alongside the forage harvester that afternoon, and a Fendt Farmer 104S Turbomatik with Veenhuis 6003 and a Fendt Favorit 611 LSA Turbomatik E with Schuitemaker Siwa 140 are the first two to follow the chopper into the maize when opening up the field. At first it seems to be going well, but on the way back the full Schuitemaker silage trailer gets stuck in the mud, and on that part of the field they have to drag the tractors through it for the rest of the afternoon. The other 3 tractors with Veenhuis silage trailers are a Fendt Farmer 410 Vario, a New Holland TS90 and a John Deere 1630, in addition to these a Fendt 512 Vario and Favorit 716 Vario are used as towing tractors. At the end of the afternoon we take a look at the pit where the work is done with a Fendt 415 Vario TMS with a Holaras maize leveler and silage roller.
