The New Silk Road is China's mega-project: a trade network between Asia, Africa and Europe. More than 70 countries are already part of this new initiative that could change the old world order. After the Greek financial crisis, no European country wanted to invest in this country. Only China saw the opportunity and bought shares in the port of Piraeus. Since 2016, they have held the majority stake in the port company. A fact that the Greek port workers' union still finds difficult to accept today. In 2019, Italy joined the New Silk Road.
