In June, on the hottest days of the year, we set out to do the Chiemgau King in Bronze, splitting the tour into 3 days. As the gravel highways of the main route were too boring for us, we looked left and right for a few trails and extra meters of elevation, which made the Bronze round more challenging and much more varied. Unfortunately, several breakdowns slowed us down, so that we could only do a shortened stage on the last day, although we doubt that more would have been possible in those temperatures...
