https://www.ersatzteilshop.de/waschma... In this video we deal with the suction hose of a washing machine. This is probably the component with the most different terms used to describe it. Some call it a suction hose, others an eco-closure and still others call it a bellows. But pump sump and inlet hose are also correct names for this component. All terms are united by their use. And this use is to transport the suds in the laundry tub to the drain pump. So it is the hose connection that is placed at the lowest point of the suds container and leads directly to the drain pump. If this hose is porous or is possibly torn open by a foreign object in the laundry, then it can become leaky and therefore it should definitely be replaced. But even if the hose is not damaged, unpleasant problems can arise with exactly this hose. Namely if the hose is blocked. Blockages are often caused by small items of clothing or paint catcher cloths that have found their way from the drum into the tub and ultimately into the suction hose. The washing machine can then no longer drain properly, which leads to error message F18 / E 18 on Bosch / Siemens washing machines or error message F05 on Bauknecht washing machines, for example. Now the good news: if you remove the blockage, the problem is solved:) So enjoy the video and good luck with the repair. GET TO WORK!
