Setwan Barut – Muara Teweh, Thousands of worshipers filled the H. Muhammad Sidik Islamic Center Mosque in Muara Teweh on Sunday, September 8, 2024, in the Tabligh Akbar event held by the Islamic Holiday Committee (PHBI) together with the North Barito Regency Government. This event also received support from PT. Mitra Barito Group. The event was attended by the Chairperson of the North Barito Regency DPRD, Ir. Hj. Mery Rukaini, M.IP, who was also accompanied by a number of DPRD members, namely Rujana Anggraini, SE, MM, Ardianto, Sri Neni Trianawati, SE, and Patih Herman AB. The officials seemed solemn listening to the prayers and sermons delivered by Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS), who was the main speaker at the event. In his sermon, Ustadz Abdul Somad reminded the congregation of the greatness of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as the last Prophet sent by Allah SWT to be an example for all mankind. UAS invited all the congregation to emulate the characteristics of the Prophet, especially the character of siddiq (honesty) which is one of the main characteristics of his personality. "Hopefully our young generation can follow the example and struggle of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in echoing the message of Islam. Incidentally, we are in the month of Rabiul Awal, which is the month of Maulid. One way to get to know the prophet is by listening to and attending the Maulid commemoration. Hopefully we can all emulate the Prophet in our daily lives, so that in the afterlife we ​​can be gathered with him and his followers," said UAS in his sermon. This event is expected to strengthen the relationship between residents and the local government and increase awareness of the importance of emulating the Prophet in everyday life.
