#agriculture #training #ecology Meeting of three farmer training organizations in Wallonia: The network of farm schools of the Mouvement d'Action Paysanne, which works on food sovereignty and farmers' rights, in particular through advocacy, continuing education and the organization of the small farmers' fair. At the Jardin du Val d'Aisne in Durbuy, Christophe, a farmer trainer, shares his knowledge and know-how with his learners throughout the seasons. Le Crabe asbl, near Jodoigne, in Walloon Brabant, offers professional reintegration training as a market gardener and in eco-gardening, as well as a project, full of meaning and a future "seeds of market gardeners", which raises awareness among children about getting their hands dirty during different activities in their vegetable garden. Les Compagnons du Samson, near Gesves, in Namur, is also a social reintegration initiative for people receiving the CPAS, hired under contract. Trained in the field, they learn the gestures of the market gardener and transform the products that will be sold on a market and in their small shop of local products.
