Cervinia and Valtournenche: trails in the Matterhorn Valley and the Aosta Valley in summer In this video we show you Valtournenche in summer: the Matterhorn and Cervinia Valley, one of the most beautiful in Italy and one of the most popular destinations for a family mountain holiday. The Aosta Valley in summer is one of the ideal destinations for sustainable tourism immersed in the nature and tranquility of the mountains and alpine forests of the Alpine Pearls such as Chamois and Cogne. There are many excursions and walks suitable for all levels of preparation between mountains and glacial lakes, such as the Croux, Cherey and Champlong lakes in La Magdeleine and the Blue Lake of Cervinia-Breuil. Most of the trails in Valtournenche are suitable for children and families, but there are also more challenging routes for expert hikers. We then toured the Cervino valley with our dog and we always had a great time as the Aosta Valley is decidedly pet-friendly, both during excursions and during restaurant stops. The backdrop to our holiday in Valtournenche, the Cervino valley, is the unmistakable profile of the Gran Becca, as the locals call the Cervino, which always offers suggestive and breathtaking scenery for taking postcard photos.
