In a new edition of Mesa Central, Iván Valenzuela spoke with Claudio Soto, advisor to the Central Bank, about the state of the Chilean economy and the results of the new Monetary Policy Report (IPoM). Regarding the problem of stagnation in economic growth, Soto highlighted the creation of the National Productivity Commission, and stated that "I think it is playing an important role, we must continue supporting it (...) the problem of productivity is that there is nothing obvious to do in the country, but there are small things that one can do in different sectors, but there is no measure that one can think of as the silver bullet that will solve the productivity problems."
