Assisted by his granddaughter Stella Meijles, pastry chef Cees Holtkamp revives the Manillapunt, the success story of his friend and colleague Kees Goetheer (1917-2001), the owner of patisserie/tearoom Berkhoff in the Leidsestraat in Amsterdam. With the recipe for the Manillapunt, Cees makes a cake that he calls a Goetheertje. The recipe is exceptionally not in De Banketbakker, the book that contains all the other recipes of Holtkamp's delicacies.
