Hello everyone! Catching pike in late autumn with a spinning rod is often difficult and you need to know the places where it feeds at this time and what to catch it with. This is my first fishing for a predator this year. In November, pike often hides in sparse reed thickets, where there are snags, etc. So I went fishing to such a reservoir, taking a spinning rod and a boat with me. The weather was cloudy, foggy and quiet. In snag-filled places, it is better to catch pike from a boat - otherwise, snags and breakages are guaranteed! It is best to catch pike at this time of year and in such overgrown places with those baits that can be carried as close to the bottom as possible, using slow wiring with pauses. I started fishing for a predator on this autumn morning with silicone and was not mistaken in my choice. Casting the bait under the reeds, I tried to move it as slowly as possible, making pauses and this fishing tactic completely justified itself! There were a lot of pike bites on silicone! The pike were all standing in the reed thickets and where there were a lot of snags. Perch also sometimes bit. Pike fishing on this autumn morning was interesting and eventful!
