Our day started in Cochrane, Chile, to head to the Roballos border crossing in the Patagonia National Park, a mind-blowing place from any angle, and which everyone should definitely visit one day. Our day progressed as the light permitted, and our idea was to go as far as possible once we took Route 40 to the north. It was a 420 km day, with 200 km of gravel, where I slashed a tire, we had a small problem at Argentine customs, and we saw the iconic gas pump in Bajo Caracoles, stopping to eat in Perito Moreno, Argentina, to end our day in Río Mayo, Argentina, which we could not record because we had no batteries left in any of our equipment.
