RIO DE JANEIRO CARNIVAL 2024: Block and marches at Praça XV In this video, I take you on a little of what the unofficial opening day of the Rio 2024 Street Carnival was like, with Blocks in different locations in downtown Rio de Janeiro. Praça XV, also known as Praça Quinze de Novembro, is a square located in the Centro neighborhood, in the Central Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. In addition to being located on Rua Primeiro de Março, the square is part of Orla Conde, a public promenade that borders Guanabara Bay. The square, which has existed since the 16th century, was reopened on May 29, 2016 after being revitalized. The revitalization of the square was carried out during the administration of Mayor Eduardo Paes as part of Porto Maravilha, an urban operation that aims to revitalize the Port Zone of Rio de Janeiro #riodejaneirobrazil #carnaval2024 #carnavalrj
