In our small way, we have accomplished a feat: climbing Carè Alto in a day is no joke! On the other hand, however, work commitments leave us no choice! With us is Davide (nr1 on the rock). We set off early in the morning with great energy towards the Carè Alto Refuge, where we will stop for a short break. We set off again in a westerly direction on what remains of a small lookout, but not before having made a quick visit to the Cannone della guerra. We then arrive at the highlight of the itinerary (marked on the rock), third-grade passages diagonally. At the end of the walls we reach the crest and from there, always continuing in tandem on passages that are never banal. To make it all cooler, there is the fog that almost completely immerses us. Great satisfaction once we reach the peaks, we are alone, but there would be no one more ????. We descend on the opposite side, with a double descent, we reach the Lares lookout, and continue on the glacier until we intersect the path (cairns) that leads back to the refuge. From the refuge there are then 1200m of altitude difference to bring us back to the car... a real penance, but what happiness!
