2023 - with Steve. We started our tour in Lavamünd. There were 11 power stations in front of us, some of which we had to portage around in a laborious and adventurous way because there were no exits or entrances. The river made up for this with a wonderful landscape and idyll. The cities of Maribor and Ptuj also compensated us for the exertions and gave us new strength. After the drudgery of portaging around the power stations in the upper section, we thought that the trip would now be easier for us after the reservoirs. But that turned out to be a big mistake. From Barcs onwards the current weakened more and more and the river became more and more monotonous. The search for camp was made even more difficult by the fact that everyone was completely infested with mosquitoes. The last three days became more and more of a torture and we longed to finally arrive. After 9 days and 440 km we reached the mouth of the Danube at Aljmas. Thank you Steve for everything! We drove in the Prijon Touryak 500
