My arrival in Grein was already a special highlight. The imposing castle of the nice little town and the mighty Danube inspired both admiration and respect. The first day was also quite strenuous, as the current had almost disappeared a few kilometers before the two dams. Shortly after Melk I bivouacked on the right bank of the Danube. The second day was just pure enjoyment! The landscape became increasingly more spectacular and I admired what was on offer around me. Thanks to the good current I reached my destination Krems quite quickly. Pumped full of impressions I drove back home. Due to data loss I lost a few video sequences. I hope I was still able to show you this beautiful section of the river.
