Plot of the Movie: The Russian War, the Balkan Wars, the lost lands and the heavy defeats brought great material and moral losses to the Ottoman Empire in the early 20th century. The Rumelian lands were lost, the oppressed Ottoman subjects began to migrate to Anatolia, and the Ottoman army suffered great losses. As a result of the outbreak of World War I in 1914 and the Ottoman Empire entering the war with the Central Powers again, a mobilization order was issued for all young men who could hold a gun in Anatolia. The Ottomans, who had suffered heavy defeats up until now, reunited with all their might to protect the lands they considered homeland. The educated, young and talented minds of the Ottoman Empire also volunteered for military service. Young Veli and Mehmet Ali were among these soldiers. They were soon assigned to Maydos (Eceabat) and fought against the British forces at Conk Bayırı with a belief and courage that history had never written before. They joined the newly established 19th Division, to which Mustafa Kemal was appointed as the commander. On the other hand, Cevat Pasha, who was responsible for the defense of the Dardanelles, was waiting for support on the one hand and making calculations for the mine lines on the other. The British and the French entered the strait with a great military force on March 18, 1915; however, passing the Dardanelles, which was their homeland, would not be as easy as they thought.
