From August 12 to 22, the city center of Cambrai will host the largest funfair in the North of France. With nearly 200 attractions, it will see over 100,000 visitors in ten days determined to have fun! From a quick ride on the carousel to the thrills of the Ferris wheel or the Sirocco, one of the festival's flagship attractions, young and old will be spoiled for choice. But for this real concentration of leisure to remain one of the favorite events of the Cambrésiens and its visitors, it takes a hell of a lot of organization. Behind the scenes, 20 families of fairground workers, or nearly 800 people, work day and night to make these ten days unforgettable. For them, each season is a new challenge to take on. For ten days, we will be behind the scenes of the festivities, as close as possible to some of them. From their arrival in the city to setting up the rides, welcoming customers or organizing gypsy evenings, how will they once again make the magic take hold in the heart of the city? What challenges will they have to overcome to ensure that the festival lives up to its reputation?
