This tour takes us to the mysterious Cabuya Island, located in Playa Cabuya on the Nicoya Peninsula, an island that contains stories, legends and popular tales. Let's discover this magnificent place. To do this, our tour begins in the city of San José, our destination will be the Nicoya Peninsula, we will take route 27 San José Caldera, then to the Inter-American Highway North, to turn off in Limonal towards Mansión, then the route to Paquera and then destination to Playa Montezuma, ending in Playa Cabuya. Road: 85% asphalt 15% gravel Location: Province of Puntarenas, Cabuya Sector Maximum altitude: 200 meters above sea level Duration: From San José to Playa Cabuya without stops 6 hours Travel date: May 2023 Return: You must take the ferry in Paquera (suggestion: buy the ticket on the shipping company's website to have the space confirmed) Total distance: 295 km one way. 485 km round trip (return by ferry) Tolls: 10 toll booths on Route 27 (both outbound and return) Temperature: between 20 and 37 degrees Celsius.
