The first group is from 1984-1999, approximately 120,000 people; the second group is from 2005-2011, approximately 215,000 people; the third group is children born in the Kingdom of Thailand of ethnic minorities, approximately 29,000 people; and the fourth group is children born in the Kingdom of Thailand of people without registration status. About 113,000 people have been surveyed, totaling 483,000 people. Today, the Cabinet considered reducing the steps because if all 483,000 people had to be considered, it would take up to 44 years. However, there were questions about whether granting citizenship would have an impact on Thailand or not.
