Hello everyone! We meet again today for a new video on board a BB 22200 on a freight train traveling at 120km/h between Rennes and Vénissieux. This is the continuation of a video already published between Dijon and Bourg-en-Bresse a short time ago. Our journey therefore begins at Bourg-en-Bresse station where we head towards Lyon via Ambérieu. We will have a few slowdowns to allow the overtaking of a TGV in the opposite direction as well as a brief stop following a slight problem on the locomotive but the loss of time will be limited to about ten minutes. To reach the Vénissieux marshalling yard located south of the Lyon railway junction, we will pass through La Part-Dieu station then through the Lyon-Guillotière complex before taking the Grenoble line to return to the Vénissieux reception yard.
