Journey from La Louviere to Anderlues on the former line 90, which was the last long intercity route still in operation at the time. And that was only because there were not enough buses available for the rail replacement service. Why rail replacement service? The SNCV was once the largest tram company in the world and ultimately the largest rail replacement service in the world because the tram and light railway lines were never officially closed down. They continued to operate as rail replacement services. This was also how the successor company TEC handled it at the beginning. There follow a few short scenes in the Charleroi metro area. The state of knowledge in 1992 was that the line from Gilly would no longer be extended. Today we know better. The flickering in the picture is the typical Hi8 error. It's annoying but I can't do anything about it.
