Welcome to the cabin of this AGC (B81500), for a train to Roanne departing from Lyon Perrache via Lyon Part Dieu. We will climb the Sauvages ramp after Tarare. It is a 27 mm/m or 27 ‰ ramp which allows you to reach the tunnel of the same name and to pass from the Mediterranean watershed to that of the Atlantic. In our case we have a Bi-Mode AGC, that is to say that it can run in electric mode capturing the energy of the catenary or in thermal mode; the diesel engines replacing the catenary. We will run in electric mode until Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d'Or then switch to thermal mode for the rest of the journey. There are a few moments when the stabilization is faulty, I hope that this will not bother you too much.
