Today we enjoy a relaxing ride from the Bombardier BR 766 control car ????. Our train journey from the driver's perspective begins in Konstanz. Before you board, a short trip to the Swabian Sea is worthwhile: On a promenade at the harbor you will pass the statue of Imperia ????, which towers over Lake Constance. Our first stop on this sunny journey is after just a few minutes in Konstanz-Petershausen, after which we continue to Allensbach☀️. For all friends of nature and its fauna, it is worth visiting the wildlife and leisure park here. The train journey continues to Radolfzell. Here, too, you will find a statue overlooking the lake: El Niño, the child. We then continue on to Singen (Hohentwiel), named after the castle fortress of the same name that overlooks the city. Directly afterwards, our journey takes us to Engen in the Hegauer Kegelbergland with its volcanoes ????. In Immendingen, the next stop on our journey, there are not one but two castles for all fairy tale fans to discover - the Upper and the Lower Castle????. Via Donaueschingen, named after its source of the Danube, and Villingen, where the Manfred Pflumm International Aviation Museum ✈️ is a popular excursion destination, we head to St. Georgen. There is also a source here - the Brigachquelle ????. Our stop in Triberg is a good starting point for a trip to the highest waterfalls in Germany. Via Hornberg with its viaduct, Hausach with its open-air museum and Haslach with its observation tower at the Uhrenkopf, we come to Biberach. If you like alpacas (or tinkers), you can stop off here at the Prinzbacher Bechererhof breeding farm ????. Last but not least, we reach the end of our journey on the Black Forest Railway in Offenburg. The ride in the driver's cab was recorded on August 10th, 2021.
