Our ride in the driver's cab ????️ with the Bombardier ET-2010 on line S4 begins at the Albtalbahnhof in Karlsruhe. First, we drive through the city and stop at the main station, on Poststrasse and Augartenstrasse, as well as at the congress center and at Ettlinger Tor. Karlsruhe attracts visitors with its castle ????, its zoological city garden ????, the botanical garden ???? and many other destinations. So if you have a little time for sightseeing before heading off to Heilbronn, you've come to the right place. Another highlight on this route: after the Ettlinger Tor stop, it goes down into the Karlsruhe light rail tunnel ????, which was only recently put into operation as part of the Karlsruhe combined solution. The stops in the tunnel are Marktplatz, Kronenplatz and Durlacher Tor / KIT-Campus Süd. Back above ground, we stop at Gottesauerplatz and at the Tullastraße/Alter Schlachthof stop. We continue to Durlach, where the medieval old town invites you to take a leisurely stroll through the town. We then leave Karlsruhe and drive via Jöhlingen West and Wössingen Ost to Bretten, where the trip to the climbing forest is worthwhile ????????. We stop in Bretten town center, at the Bretten school center, in Gölshausen, Bauerbach and Oberderdingen-Flehingen Industrie. With its witch's tower ????, Obererdingen invites history enthusiasts to take a detour. We continue via Flehingen and Zaisenhausen to Sulzfeld. The Kraichgau fairytale forest is very close by. After the stops in Eppingen, Gemmingen, Stetten, Schwaigern and Leingarten, we finally reach our final stop at Heilbronn main station. The city has something to offer everyone: from the South German Railway Museum ???? to experimenta, Germany's largest science center, to the Trappenseeschlösschen and many other offers.
