For four days from October 30, 2020, the Kyoto Railway Museum will hold a "Night Museum". The museum will extend its closing time from the usual 17:30 to 20:00, and will dim the lights throughout the museum to create a night-time atmosphere. In particular, a turntable rotation demonstration was held in the roundhouse, with a steam locomotive on fire. The steam locomotive was the "C62-2"! As a surprise, it was fitted with the Tsubame limited express train headlights! (It was limited to 11/1 and 2, but it was rainy on the 2nd, so it was only fitted on that day.) The Swallow Angel and the Tsubame headlights shine in the dark night, shining blue against the blue sky. Their majestic appearance is like a swallow soaring through the late autumn night. *There are multiple scenes where the whistle will sound. Please be careful of the volume!! #Kyoto Railway Museum #Night Museum
