Only a few historic granaries, located in the city centre, have survived to this day. Not far from the three historic granaries on the Brda there are two buildings stylized as modern granaries, the Lloyd's Palace, as well as beautiful tenement houses and the historic building of the Polish Post Office. Water trams Barges and water trams are moored along the Rybi Rynek, thanks to which you can look at the city from the perspective of the river. Sightseeing in Bydgoszcz is not complete without a ride on the Słoneczna or Staromiejska water tram route. Mill Island Another attraction in Bydgoszcz worth seeing is Mill Island, which can be accessed via the Lovers' Bridge. Mill Island is located in the city centre on the Brda River. From Mill Island, you can see the impressive building of the Nova Opera, which is one of several opera stages in Poland. On Mill Island, you can also find the European Money Centre, the historic Biały Granary with an archaeological exhibition, the Museum of Modern Art in the historic Czerwony Granary, and the House of Leon Wyczółkowski, an outstanding Polish painter. From Mill Island, you can see a number of old tenement houses and factories from the 19th and early 20th centuries. This is the Venice of Bydgoszcz, which stretches along the Młynówka.
