Being back in Berlin, I invite you to start with a ride on line 142, which serves important downtown areas of the German capital, along with one of BVG's latest acquisitions - the electric Ebusco of the second generation. The largest German city carrier has ordered 90 such vehicles, and currently has 70 of them - deliveries of subsequent units are being made regularly. The introduction of new units into service allows for testing electric buses on other lines than those previously operated in other parts of the capital. Line 142, like other typical downtown lines for solo buses, has been operated by electric buses for about 5 years - previously Solaris and Mercedes, and now also vehicles from a third manufacturer. 142 S Ostbahnhof - U Leopoldplatz 1.
