One of the most famous shalawat in Indonesia is the shalawat or Qasidah Burdah. A poem containing praises for the Prophet Muhammad, moral messages, spiritual values and fighting spirit, which is often read when commemorating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad. Qasidah Burdah is also often read regularly in Islamic boarding schools and in the community. Qasidah Burdah was composed by a very famous scholar, a Sufi, and a great lover of the Prophet Muhammad, namely Imam al-Bushiri. Imam al-Bushiri's full name is Muhammad bin Sa'id bin Himad bin Abdullah ash-Shanhaji al-Bushiri al-Mishri. He was born in the village of Dalas, one of the Bani Yusuf villages in the Egyptian highlands in 609 AH. Little Al-Bushiri then grew up in Bushir, his father's home village. Nisbat or the term al-Bushiri refers to the village. Al-Bushiri died in 696 AH, when he was 87 years old and was buried near the tomb of Sheikh Abil 'Abbas al-Mursi in the city of Alexandria, Egypt. *** - - - Habib Salim bin Abdullah As Syathiri said that, Burdah is very effective in granting our wishes with Allah's permission. However, there are conditions that must be met. That is having the sanad of knowledge, and among them are performing ablution, facing the Qibla, understanding the meaning of verses, reading with great hymmah, being civilized, wearing perfume. Specifically about wearing this fragrance, Habib Salim said, 'Not like people today, who read Burdah but their body smells of cigarettes. Even though the Salaf has agreed to forbid smoking." At the end of his lecture, Habib Salim said that if someone does not walk in thoriqoh salaf then there are three things to worry about. First, it has a short lifespan.
