BULLMASTIFF - THE GRANDFATHER OF THE PRESA CANÁRIO Hello, welcome to another video from the Santa Morte Presa Canário kennel. Today we filmed at Casa Silva this very interesting breed, the Bullmastiff, a dog that originated in England and used to capture people who were illegally hunting on other people's property. Given this, farmers decided to develop a strong breed with a temperament that would bite and not let the invader go, and of course, to discourage these hunters from invading other people's property. This breed was created by mixing bull-type dogs, which would resemble pitbulls today, and a mix of the English Mastiff, which was a milder-tempered dog but with a lot of structure. You will also see Chico and Major in their early stages of aggression training. This breed was created for families.
