Building a helicopter simulator is not an easy task. How much more, when this person has managed to get certification even from the FSA! As strange as it sounds, Nikos Georgakis (former technician at Super Puma of the Air Force) and current pilot of airplanes and helicopters at Superior Air managed to do it from scratch. He got his hands on a normal helicopter that didn't fly and after two years of intensive work, he managed to perfect it and turn it into a flight simulator. Having the support of Ilias Sofianou who believed in the effort, he not only created an emulator but this specific one also got certification from the CAA. A custom flight simulator that similarly does not exist in Greece (however certified) where normal pilots do many tests using various scenarios while at the same time "writing" flight hours.
