We often don't know what or how we can serve God. But there are steps to rebuilding a service. It doesn't have to be as big a project as Nehemiah's wall building, but if you faithfully seek God, He will show you people and situations that your heart is drawn to. After that comes the setting of goals or careful planning, but the point remains the same: God acts. As long as you are His man, whatever service you do, you are the most blessed man! ???? Words ???? Nehemiah 2,2-8.17-18 (EFO) 2 "Aren't you sick? Why is your face so sad? Something must be weighing on your soul!” I had never been sad in the presence of the king before, so I was very frightened. 3 Then I answered: "Lord, my king, live forever! How could I be sad when the city where my ancestors rest lies in ruins and its gates have been burned by fire!” 4 "What do you wish?" asked the king. Before answering, I prayed to God who resides in Heaven. 5 Then I answered: "If the king sees fit, and if his servant likes him, then send me to the province of Judea, to the city where my ancestors rest, so that I can rebuild the city." 6 Then the king asked (the queen was sitting next to him): "How much time do you need for this and when will you return?" Then I said how long I would like to request leave for - and the king graciously let me go. 7 Then I asked him further: "If the king sees fit, give me the decrees written in my hand addressed to the governors of the province beyond the river, so that I can travel freely through their territory on my way to Judea." 8 I would also need another similar letter of recommendation, addressed to Asaf, the custodian of the royal forests, to assign enough beams for the construction. After all, I have to restore the wall surrounding the Temple, the walls of the city, and the gates - besides, I have to build a house for myself." The king promised all this because the hand of my God rested on me. 17 Then I called them together and said to them: “You see how miserable our situation is! All Jerusalem is an uninhabited heap of ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire. Come, let's unite and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem so that we don't have to bear this disgrace anymore!” 18 I also told them that the hand of my God rests on me and that the king also supports me in the construction. To this they all answered: "Yes, let's do it! Let's build the walls!” We started work with this strong determination. ????
