You would have to set up 2 reaction equations (reaction with and without OH- ions) or for the reaction with OH- you would have to use 2 H2O instead of H20 + H30+. What is meant by a buffer in chemistry? In this tutorial I explain how buffers or buffer systems stabilize the pH value.
