How has our society changed in the last 35 years and how will it change? Why do we seem to understand each other less and less and do we feel that the grass was greener before? And can all of this, at least in part, be shown in data? Martin Buchtík is a sociologist and director of the STEM analytical institute. He deals with topics related to a dynamically changing society in a broader context and other issues such as the formation of public opinion, quality of life, cohesion and inequalities. In the past, he directed, among other things, the Center for Public Opinion Research of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and completed his doctoral studies at Charles University with a focus on sociological research methodology.
