This week, reporter Nami Yoshioka will be with Haruhiko Murakami. They set sail from Sazaura Fishing Port in Minamiise-cho, Mie Prefecture, and aim to catch skipjack tuna by jigging off the coast of Ise-Shima. They use 320-gram and 380-gram metal jigs to search for tuna at a depth of about 100 meters. Nami, whose dream is to catch a tuna, also puts all her energy into the challenge of physical endurance. The moment comes suddenly. When a fellow boatman gets a bite, the boat is instantly in a state of panic. It becomes a furious feeding frenzy. However, no matter how many bites Murakami gets, he keeps losing his fish. The reason is that he made the hook smaller to prioritize the movement of the metal jig. Once he realizes this, he just makes the hook bigger to make sure it is hooked. On this day, the seventh time is a charm and he catches the first skipjack tuna for the program.
