The negotiations between Israel and Hamas seem to be leading to a deal; yet they continue for the time being. What is preventing the completion of a deal? And why is there also dissatisfaction in Israel about a possible deal? Israel has largely eliminated the leadership of Hamas, but still strict demands are being made for the release of hostages.
