In this video I take the JPG file (not too big but not georeferenced) of an orthophoto and bring it into a CAD, with the aim of drawing on it (but I don't do that here...). I use Cloud Compare to query the point cloud corresponding to the orthophoto and obtain the coordinates of some points that I use to translate, scale and rotate the image in CAD. This procedure cannot be said to be rigorous but it could allow you to work with the tools you have available to reach your goals (a 2D plan). You only need to know two points to do the various procedures in CAD. It would be good to have them far away, to avoid even greater errors or inaccuracies. If you have more, you can use them to check the final result. PS I only noticed after the upload was finished that there is a bit of out of sync between audio and video. I hope it's not a problem!
