Marlies has fallen in love with her best friend's boyfriend, Gaya, to her own shock. And that is of course a problem, especially considering the fact that the three have always been inseparable. Because she wants to be honest, she confesses this to Gaya. The next day, Marlies is confronted with a rumor that is going around the school about her. She wants to take Gaya's boyfriend away. She feels terrible, because exactly what she was trying to avoid now seems to be happening: that she loses her two best friends because of that stupid crush of hers. But... when the boyfriend, Thomas, finds out that his girlfriend has spread the rumor, he breaks up with him. In fact. He not only breaks up with Gaya, but also asks Marlies to be his girlfriend...
