#trentino #trentinorefuges #brentagroup Today we are in the Brenta group, we go to the Croz dell'Altissimo refuge, an easy trek along a spectacular path carved into the rock overlooking the valley below. The SAT 340 trail starts from Pradel above the town of Molveno, to reach it there are various options: A. You start in the lido area of Molveno and go up the Val delle Seghe, the valley follows the path of the Rio Massò that from the Brenta goes to dive into Lake Molveno. This route winds through the woods until it reaches the refuge directly, it avoids the SAT 340 trail with its spectacular exposed section, but it is the only one completely passable by bike. B. You start from Via Belvedere, at the top of the town of Molveno and follow the signs for Pradel. The first section is a cemented forest road, but soon a crossroads with the sign Pradel deviates into a more characteristic path in the woods. In about an hour you reach the Pradel Plateau, from here you continue along the SAT 340 path that will take you to the Refuge in about 1 hour of walking. C. Always from Molveno by cable car that leaves from Via Nazionale and reaches the Pradel Plateau in a few minutes, here you continue with the 340 path. D. From Andalo it is possible to start directly from the village (Maso Ghezzi) for a not difficult but rather long excursion that along the forest road takes you directly to the Pradel area. It is however possible to reach altitude for a first stretch up to the Valbiole area, which is the itinerary we took, the first part of this route can in fact also be traveled by car. From Valbiole continue towards Pradel, reachable in about 1 hour of walking. From this point with the usual 340 you continue to the Refuge.
