Climbing to the top of the Western Breithorn at 4,164 meters above sea level A total immersion in the Matterhorn environment. The Breithorn is the westernmost 4,000 of the Monte Rosa chain seen from Italy, and is undoubtedly one of the most suitable climbs for those who are approaching mountaineering. Thanks to the ski lifts of Cervinia, the difference in altitude to reach the summit is limited and the climb can easily be done in a day, but it is still possible to extend the experience and decide to spend the night at the Rifugio Teodulo. We were lucky enough to enjoy this Alpine setting on a fantastic day, with an optimal temperature and a total absence of clouds.
