This stimulates natural relaxation and stimulates your vagus nerve, a large nerve that runs through your body, to come into a more calm state. What is your vagus nerve? Your vagus nerve (also called the wandering nerve) runs from your brain to your facial muscles, inner ear, throat, lungs, diaphragm and goes to all organs in your body.
