In the Breathing Web Series, Alana Moraes invites the greatest accordionists in Brazil, in a very intimate moment, where only the voice and the accordion breathe together. Breathing is the basis of all singing technique. Directly linked to the tuning, placement and volume of the voice and the stamina of the singing. The sound of the accordion is created when the air in the bellows passes between two reeds, vibrating lower or higher according to the distance between them and their size. The air comes from the bellows, which is opened or closed with the help of the arm.
