However, the majority of our actions and decisions are taken by the brain unconsciously. In addition, 90% of the energy used is for functions that escape our awareness. Sometimes, our brain even deceives us... Let's be careful! A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure and an associate professor of natural sciences, he completed his doctorate at the Collège de France. He created the CNRS-Inserm Centre for Pharmacology-Endocrinology (CCIPE) in Montpellier, then the Institute of Functional Genomics (IGF). President of the French Society of Neuroscience, he was director of the Montpellier Genopole and the Rabelais BioSanté Cluster.
