Brain in Trauma In the face of the changing situation in Ukraine and the ongoing activities related to the emigration of refugees fleeing the war, we present a recording from a meeting organized for all psychotherapists in Poland. Continuing the series of trainings, we invite you to participate in the next events. Brain in Trauma Brain in Trauma is an attempt to illustrate the functioning of the central nervous system of a person under stress in combination with the symptoms presented by the body. The aim of the lecture was to discuss the difficulties of patients and the possibilities of helping traumatized people. The training was led by: Anita Sumiła - child and adolescent psychiatrist, psychotherapist of the Polish Psychiatric Association, psychotraumatologist, head of the Mental Health Clinic for Children and Adolescents in Sopot, the Psychological Clinic for Children and Adolescents in Gdynia and the Foundation for Supporting Children and Families. For 20 years he has been working with children, adolescents and their families, is the author of numerous publications in the field of developmental psychopathology, lectures at Tri-City universities. The moderator was: Dorota Modrzyńska - president of the Polish Society of Psychotraumatology and member of the Polish Society of Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy and the Polish Psychotherapy Council.
