The plants were planted on three artificially raised hills and a naturally shaped grassy escarpment. The collection of fruit plants includes species and varieties of trees, shrubs and fruit perennials. In addition to the commonly known species and varieties, you can also see lesser-known, old varieties. Every year in April and May the Garden is a real siege of tourists. At that time magnolias bloom. The garden has collected over 57 species and varieties. In the reservoirs and watercourses connecting them, there are typically aquatic species, and on their banks, plants from humid and marshy sites. In the greenhouses of the Botanical Garden in Powsin, exotic plants from subtropical and tropical regions have been collected. The collection has been divided into five parts - each with plants with different climatic and habitat requirements. A large group consists of tropical and subtropical useful plants, especially citrus plants, which are the largest collection in Poland. The collection of ornamental plants, the largest exhibition of which is the Perennial Garden, in which there are over 900 species, varieties of botanical and garden, ground ornamental plants.
